The theme “Human Rights with Nasreddin Hodja” expresses that a cartoon should be drawn which includes the image of Nasreddin Hodja and addresses the issue of human rights.

The Competition is open to caricaturists from all ower the world.
The caricatures must not be awarded by another competition.
The caricaturists can participate at the Competition maximum with three caricatures.

Award Ceremony: The award ceremony will be held on July 5, 2026 in Akşehir during the 67th International Nasreddin Hodja Festivities.
The awarded cartoon artists will be invited to the cartoon and humor events ceremonies to be held in Akşehir, where Nasreddin Hodja’s Tomb is located, on July 4 / 8, 2026.
Transportation, accommodation expenses of the awarded cartoon artists will be covered by the competition organization.

The dimensions of caricatures shall be in A4 or A3 size.
Cartoonists who will participate in the competition should write their name, surname, address, telephone number, country on the back of their works. Artists should add their short biographies (short CVs) to their cartoons.
We kindly request that those who will participate in our contest digitally send their cartoons to karikaturculerdernegi34@gmail.com attached as a .doc in A4 size, 300 dpi, JPEG or TIFF format, a maximum 3 MB per cartoon, and including their personal information (name, surname, mailing address, e-mail address, short biography, photo) .

All caricatures sent to the Contest will be kept by the Cartoonists Association in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Cartoon and Humor Center.

The person participating in the competition accepts that they will be consented to transferring the intellectual rights for non-commercial use of each work they sent, to the Akşehir Municipality and Cartoonists Association. Accordingly, Akşehir Municipality and Cartoonist Association will have the rights, includes but not limited to, the rights to reproduce, disseminate and process the cartoons participating in the competition. These rights can be used through third parties. Cartoon artists participating in the competition are considered to have accepted all these conditions.
